Old friends in black and white (Dennis Aubrey)

This is just a quick post to show some of our favorite churches, this time in black and white. The abbey church of Souillac has the great mysterious trumeau which is featured in the first shot. The second features the glorious Notre Dame la Grande in Poitiers, while the third is the complex and confounding church of Saint Hilaire, also in Poitiers.

We’ll have more time to post soon, but things have been very busy the last couple of weeks. Yesterday we celebrated my birthday by shooting three great churches in Poitiers; Notre Dame la Grande, Cathedrale Saint Pierre, and the Basilique Saint Hilaire. 385 shots for PJ and 375 for me!
