More in Concord (PJ McKey)

Here are two  shots taken in historic Concord, Massachusetts.  This is the Trinitarian Congregational Church, one of several beautiful churches in the immediate downtown area of Concord.

This was the first chance I had to try out the new Canon TS-E 24mm F3.5 L II tilt-shift lens.  Unfortunately, it was only 10 degrees and my fingers were rebelling but I did manage to get a few shots in the beautiful winter light.

    • Thanks, Kirstin. This project photographing the Romanesque churches is our great passion in life. We return to France in eight weeks for another session. We can’t wait!

      BTW, we love Miss Daisy.

      • Thank you Dennis..I’ll pass that along to Miss Daisy..she will be pleased to hear it! Have a GREAT return trip to France…I will look forward to seeing more of your posts!

    • This is PJ’s default lens, Lisa. I always loved the 24TS myself. The 17TS is magnificent but it does create problems with edge distortion and is subject to hilation because of its “bubble”. But it does superbly in large churches.
