This was an interview with Brother Andrew Kosmowski, S.M. where we talk about the Vierges Romanes and Black Madonnas that we photograph in France and Spain. We were in Dayton, Ohio for our exhibition at the Marian Institute at the University of Dayton.
The Jubilee Museum, April 2019
The Jubilee Museum’s purpose is to preserve the Catholic mind and memory as it is represented in art as well as Catholic Church history. This month’s episode highlights the current exhibit at the Jubilee museum “Light & Stone: A Gallery of Romanesque Architecture” featuring artistic images of the interiors and exteriors of churches found in Spain and France. The work of American photographers Dennis Aubrey and PJ Aubrey has been featured in exhibitions across the United States.
The Stones are Singing
This is one of the most remarkable pieces of media that we have experienced here at Via Lucis. The Pastor Gordon Stewart was the minister at the Shepherd Of The Hill Presbyterian Church in Chaska, Minnesota. This sermon was inspired by the Gospel of John 19:34, Luke 19:40, Luke 26:10, 13. It also features the following section which he describes as “… the moving testimony of Dennis Aubrey as well as the beautiful photography produced by Dennis and PJ Aubrey as illustrated on the Via Lucis Photography web site.”
